About UHAI
The UHAI is the backbone of the mosque. Their abilities to attract and mobilize all level of Muslimahs to volunteer in the daily operational mosque activities are outstanding. I n many occasions, the Muslimahs put their hearts and minds together to organize very successful events such as charity fairs, high teas, donation drives and other high impact programmes, thus encouraging them to be socially engaged and connected to new development.
For the in house activities, the Muslimahs are actively involved in the collection and sale of the recycling items, Thursday night Food Sale during religious classes are on, keep fit programmes, be-frienders to the “people in need” and socially challenged, personal development programme and many more. Thus creating a bonding and rapport among the Muslimahs and the jemaahs. Besides the daily religious classes, for the academically inclined target group, Arabic and Quran Reading classes are also arranged for the Muslimahs.
External activities include visits to places of interest, networking with social service and civic agencies within Bukit Panjang. The Muslimahs plays an important role in the networking among other Mosque’s Muslimahs and other grassroots’ organisation by participating in their activities such as brisk walking, mass exercise, etc.
UHAI is also part of the Joint Mosque Women’s Wing or MERAK (Menjalin Rangkaian Kerja).
Welfare and Outreach (JPK)

Foster close working relationship with the residents of Bukit Panjang by showing care and concern.
Vision
Al-Iman Mosque as a one-stop service centre for residents of Bukit Panjang.
About JPK
JPK has effectively reached out to the poor and needy via establishing extensive networks with other organizations such as the Northwest Community Development Council (NWCDC), Bukit Timah – Holland Town Council, Mendaki, Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM), Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis), Bukit Panjang Family Services Centres (FSCs), Community Clubs (CCs), Residents’ Committee (RCs), neighbouring schools and the residents of Bukit Panjang.
JPK volunteers conduct house visits to give moral support to its existing and potential welfare recipients. The JPK also distributes monthly food vouchers and groceries donated by generous donors. A Parent-Support Group was also formed as an auxiliary support for the needy community.
JPK conducts empowerment programme to assist our welfare recipients to earn regular monthly income to support their families such as the Friday food sales, Community Kitchen and Blessed Kitchen. Enriching and social programmes such as Money Sense, motivational talks, picnics and outings are also organized.
Qaryah

Mission
Provide logistical and operational support for all of Al-Iman Mosque activities to ensure successful execution

About Qaryah
The Qaryah helps to connect with out-of-mosque Muslims, particularly with the “people in need”. It started off with only 20 members in 2001 and now has grown to 100 members. The members played an important role in ensuring the success of any events organised by Al-Iman Mosque and other groups that exist in the constituency. The Qaryah is a crucial catalyst in re-living the spirit of volunteerism among the residents of Bukit Panjang.
One of the many activities conducted by the Qaryah is the “make over brigade”, where its members and other volunteers work together to do painting, plumbing, cleaning and minor repair work to homes of needy families residing in Bukit Panjang irrespective of race or religion.
Like all the Units of Al-Iman Mosque, motivational workshops and discussion sessions were also organized for its members with the aim of bringing together and to improve rapport among the residents. Through efforts in encouraging residents to participate in the activities organized by Al-Iman Mosque, the vision of uniting the residents in Bukit Panjang can be achieved.
Warga Emas (Senior Citizen)

About Warga Emas
The Unit or Club was officially formed on 4 January 2004. When it first started, there were only a handful of members. Now the club has over 200 members, mostly housewives and retirees aging 45 years and above.
Regular morning brisk walking with members of RC Zone 6 is held every Sunday. This would be followed by physical exercise to the beat of Gamelan. Programmes such as talks on variety of issues such as ‘Faraid’, volunteerism, aromatheraphy and healthy eating habits were also conducted. Members were also provided with regular health checks on their blood pressure, weight and body mass index.
