About the Library

The Ar Raudhah Islamic Library(ARIL)was officially opened on 1st December 1999 with the aim of providing a focal point for knowledge based activities to the Muslim families living in the vicinity of the Mosque.

Aim

To serve the general Muslim community in providing resources necessary to propogate a learning culture, which is vaunted in Islam. We believe that knowledge is most effectively disseminated via the family unit as it forms the backbone of the community.

The library has a comprehensive collection on a wide range of topics in 3 languages; Malay, English and Arabic. As the name of the Library suggests, it is primarily an Islamic library.

The bulk of the collection is religious in nature encompassing 7 general areas, that is, Sirah, Tafsir(History), Hadith, Fiqh, Tauhid, Tafsir, Syariah and Islamic Literature. Books on other areas offered by the Library include books on self-improvement, Psychology, Children Books and many more........
