Masjid Kassim, situated at 450 Changi Road, has gone through a

major redevelopment.

The building structure has been designed to reflect Islamic aesthetics

reinterpreted for the current location and time.

The aspiration of the design takes reference to the ealier mosques

built in the Middle East with sandstoned/clay materials as well as

elaborated carved stone screes, geometric patterns and holy script.
