Kampung Siglap Mosque Family Development Centre (FDC)

Kampung Siglap Mosque Family Development Centre (FDC) was launched in Octocer 1997 as one of the means to realize the Mission and Vision of the Kampung Siglap Mosque as an organization that serves to unite and enhance positive development among Muslim families. FDC focuses on the development of individuals and families make up the Mosque’s clients, whether they are affiliated to the Mosque through participation in th Mosque’s activities and services, or come specifically for self-enrichment purposes.

Mission

To develop the Family Development Centre into a one-stop center for individual and familydevelopment activities for the Muslim community.

Vision

To develop and raise a public profile among the Muslim Community based on Al-Quran and As-Sunnah.

Objectives

To provide an efficient services for the overall development of the Disadvantaged Families.
To organize programme catering for the various dimensions of family life, relations, values and development.

Programmes

We provide support programmes and remedial intervention to help individuals and families with difficulties. It aims to equip families with the appropriate coping skills in dealing with problems and crises as they arise in the hope of enhancing the general well being of the families.

We also reach out to the general public for the purpose of developmental and preventive work.  It aims to improve family functioning, such as strengthening marital unions, enhancing family relationships and imparting parenting skills to the various target groups.

Our programmes can be in the form of Religious Class, Support Group, Family Social Activities, Counselling Services, Seminars and Workshops.
